To preorder textbooks:
Ø Go to http://reddragonbooks.oneonta.edu
Ø Click on “Textbooks” (left sidebar)
Ø Select the “Fall Term” - a list of departments will pop up
Ø Select each department you will be taking a class from
Ø Click “Continue to Select Courses” - select the specific courses you will be taking
Ø Click “Continue to Get Course Materials” - a list of books and other materials for all the courses you selected will appear.
Ø One at a time, click “add to cart” for each item you need. You may change the number of items and choose used or new, depending on your preference and availability. Once all your items are selected, click “shopping cart”
Ø You can now double check your items, go back if need be or change quantities. When satisfied, click “continue check out”
Ø On the next page, you will need to select an “order update action” for each of your classes. Your choices will be “do not add to order,” “add all materials” and “add only required materials.” At the bottom of this page, read and check the following before you can move on. “I understand that by allowing the bookstore to modify my order based on my instructors' actions, the final total of my order may be increased from that being quoted at this time.”
Ø Click “continue checkout” once all is to your liking.
Ø Unless you have already created a bookstore account, click “register here” and on the next screen click “create profile for browsing and shopping”. Fill in all required information and click “register”
Ø Make sure your billing address is correct and click “continue to shipping address”
Ø Add an address or click “use this address”.
Ø You now have the choice to have your books shipped to you via UPS or picked up at the store. You must select “textbooks only.”
Ø Click “Continue”
Ø If all is correct, click “Continue Checkout”
Ø Fill out your credit card or dragon dollar information (5081#) and click “Submit order”. An email confirmation will be sent to you.
